Date Night

Did you ever notice that it’s difficult to measure time? It can sift through your fingers and disappear or it can drag on for ever and ever. My Dad was in the Emergency Room recently and we were there for 7 hours. Fortunately, everything was ok and we took him home… but the waiting for each procedure to happen was PAINFULLY uncomfortable. It was like watching a slow motion clip from a movie…

And then, I was chatting on the phone with a very good friend the next morning and I looked at the clock…

Oooh…I Need That…

Image | Blog | Blank Image Cupping Hands

I know a lot of business owners that say yes and yes and yes. Sometimes it’s to self, sometimes to family and sometimes to new exciting business ideas. And that my friend, ‘the new exciting business idea’ is where it gets us into BIG trouble.

What I’ve always loved was her ability to distill a thought/story/image into a few powerful words. The absolute simplicity that she w…

Keep It Real…Tell the Truth

Image | Blog | Blank Image of Sarah & Susan

I've been thinking a lot of about truth and how we tell it or not. And I always put my thoughts
through my business lens.

This is what I hear…
"I'll work with you when I finish this other program I bought."

My response…

"How is this program helping you sign up all the clients you want?"

Their response…

"Well, it's not, but I bought it and I have to finish it."

THIS DOES NOT make one iota of sense to me. How can continuing to do something that isn't working make any sense at all?

If you ever…
